CALL FOR PAPERS for a special issue of Facta Universitatis: “Law, Economics and Public Policy“.

This Call for Papers is aimed at bringing together a selected number of scholars and associates from the academic community who wish to participate in the original research project titled “Law, Economics and Public Policy“.

We hereby invite all interested parties to submit scientific papers, review articles, discussion papers, commentaries, book reviews, translation papers, and thematic essays for the thematic issue of scientific journal Facta Universitatis: Law and Politics Series, Vol. 18, No. 3, 2020.

The field of public policy in recent decades has captured the attention of both theorists and practitioners, especially in developed countries such as the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, and others. This is supported by the existence of numerous courses in the field of public policy at public and private universities and other academic institutions, but also the establishment of numerous agencies and other state bodies that deal with the application of public policies in practice. Taking this into account, as well as the fact that this area is highly neglected in Serbia, it is necessary to encourage researchers of different scholar orientations to elaborate on various aspects of public policies, from their creation to the application in practice. To that end, the new thematic issue of Facta Universitatis is focused on the field of public policy, from legal, economic, political, organizational, and other perspectives. Special emphasis should be placed on a comparative analysis of the creation and implementation of public policies in developed countries as related to Serbia.

Hoping that the contemporary relevance of this topic will contribute to authors’ increased interest in publishing their research results, the Editorial Board has chosen to address this highly topical issue. This special issue of Facta Universitatis: Law and Politics aims to provide latitude for interdisciplinary research of public policy in correlation with law, economics, politics, etc. Thus, we wish to promote interdisciplinarity as a modern trend in the academic community and a postulate which will contribute to correlating the latest developments in the contemporary world and the fundamental research in social sciences and humanities.
