Focus and Scope

Facta Universitatis, Series: Medicine and Biology (FU Med Bio) is a peer reviewed journal in the field of Medicine and Robotics. The journal is published issues by the University of Niš since 2008. All papers will be blind reviewed. Accepted papers will be available on line (free access) and in printed version. No publication fee.

The journal publishes original papers in the field of Medicine and Biology which covers, but not limited to the following scope:

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts are subject to peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. Submissions will be considered by an editor and “if not rejected right away” by peer-reviewers, whose identities will remain anonymous to the authors.

Proofs. Upon acceptance, the manuscripts will be forwarded promptly to the printer. Galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for final corrections.

 

Open Access Policy

FACTA UNIVERSITATIS, Series: Medicine and Biology is an Open Access Journal in accordance with the Berlin Declaration. All articles can be downloaded free of charge for personal, educational and scientific purposes (Creative Commons licence CC BY-NC-ND).

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Publication frequency

FU Med Biol is published (minimally) two times a year.

Indexing: The journal FU Med Biol is indexed with M52.

 

Plagiarism

Authors must obtain permission to reproduce any copyright material, and include an acknowledgement of the source in their paper. Authors should be aware that the unreferenced use of the published articles, writing or illustrations of others, from whatever source, or submission of a complete paper under “new” authorship in the same or a different language, constitutes plagiarism.
