Abstract

The modern construction concept and the determination of the machine system characteristics anticipate CAD design. Creating model that will be tested using FEM and other methods for determining stress-strain is a very important part of rail vehicle construction. Applicative software package consists of linear and non–linear methods for the prediction of railway vehicle behavior and various methods of analysis have been assembled into a single coherent package in order to allow real problems in railway vehicle dynamics to be solved.
