TACHYON INFLATION WITH A GENERALIZED T-MODE POTENTIAL IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE HOLOGRAPHICS BRANEWORLD COSMOLOGY

Abstract


We consider inflation scenario in the holographic framework with a tachyon fluid occupying the brane at the holographic boundary of an asymptotic AdS5 space. We calculate numerically the observational parameters of inflation, the scalar spectral index ( ) and the tensor-to-scalar ratio ( ) for a generalized T-mode potential and confront the results with observational data. We determine a range of values for the free parameters of the model that are in good agreement with the observational constraints.
